Welcome to a book talk with author, historian and columnist Adrian Wooldridge.
Liberalism finds itself in crisis once again – its fundamental principles are being challenged from both the left and the right. Populism, identity politics and authoritarian tendencies are gaining ground, and many believe that the liberal establishment has forgotten what it once stood for.
Drawing on his new book Centrists of the World Unite! (Swedish title: Den revolutionära mitten), British historian and writer Adrian Wooldridge will speak with Rikard Westerberg, Director of the Center for Statecraft and Strategic Communication, about how we ended up here – and what we might do about it.
Adrian Wooldridge is a columnist for Bloomberg Opinion and was previously political editor of The Economist.
The talk will be held in English and the Swedish translation of the book will be available for purchase at a special event price.
